Welcome to your new Sun Devil home
First-year (Fall 2025) move-in will start the week prior to classes and depend on your campus location. You will receive a move in appointment time and instructions for move-in via your ASU email account, during the first week of July.
Whether you're a first-year or continuing student, the Fall 2025 Move-in Packet is your go-to resource for the next steps in your Sun Devil experience.

Downtown Phoenix: August 14 - 16
Polytechnic: August 16
Tempe: August 16 - 17
West Valley: August 17
Note: Your assigned move-in date and time will be published on My ASU when details are available. You will also receive instructions to your ASU email account after July 6th or within seven business days of your assignment, if assigned after July 1st.

Room assignment and roommate
You can view your housing assignment by visiting the Housing Portal or logging into your MyASU and checking under the Campus Services tab.
University Housing reserves the right to change your room assignment. Any change to room assignments may change your move-in date.
University Housing strongly encourages all residents to secure renters insurance to protect their belongings and ensure peace of mind while living on campus.

Only students participating in an approved ASU-sponsored event or program are eligible to check into the halls early. Visit My ASU Housing to review the ASU approved early arrival programs
In order to ensure swift and efficient move-in, move-in dates and times are assigned to each student. Visit MyASU for your move-in time, date, and check-in location in July. This information will also be sent to your ASU email account when it is available.
If you need to check-in later than your assigned move-in date, you are required to email University Housing from your @asu.edu email account.
Note: Housing and meal plan rates will not be prorated for late check-in.
Mailing and shipping address information will be released August 1, 2026. All items should be labeled with first and last name, residence hall and room number. No mail or packages can be accepted for you at this address until you receive more information. Anything received prior will be returned to the sender. Coordinate with family or friends to ship non-essential items to you at a later time.
Alternatively, your mailing and shipping address information will be published on your My ASU account in early August. You are able to ship packages to your mailing address after that date, and items will be available for you to pick up from your designated mail and package pickup location on campus when you arrive. First and last name, residence hall and room numbers are required on all mail and packages.
Polytechnic, Tempe, and West Valley Residents:
You are able to use the USS From-Home-to-Room program and have items delivered to your room prior to your arrival. Items must be received by USS prior to July 30, 2026. If you choose to ship items yourself, you can pick up your packages after you arrive on campus at your designated pickup location, which may include smart lockers in select areas. Your shipping address information will be published on your My ASU account, under Campus Services, no later than Aug. 1, 2026. Be sure to use your full name as listed in university records when shipping. Please wait until your shipping address is assigned before shipping any packages. Please note - Your shipping address, residence hall, and package pickup location are all different. Be sure to use the correct shipping address provided in your My ASU account.
Downtown Residents:
Your shipping address will be published on your My ASU account, under Campus Services, when it is assigned (no later than Aug. 1, 2026). You may ship items to your direct shipping address and pick them up when you arrive on campus. Be sure to use your full name as listed in university records when shipping. Please wait until your shipping address is assigned before shipping any packages.

All students are expected to provide proof of immunization to Health Services at [email protected] prior to move-in. Students will not be permitted to check-in to their residential hall without submission. For more information and necessary forms, please review the New Student Immunization Requirements.
If you are planning to park your vehicle on campus or plan to utilize public transportation, visit Parking and Transit Services.
University and Student Services (USS) provides convenient services such as housekeeping options, micro fridge rentals, laundry pick-up services and water cooler rental. Available services vary across all ASU campus locations.

Important billing information
Housing and dining charges are billed once per semester; however, when you sign the License Agreement, you will be financially responsible for housing and dining costs for the entire academic year. Use our yearly cost estimator chart to estimate your yearly costs.
Room and board payments can be made in one of two installment plans:
One payment per semester: This payment plan is suggested if you are paying with financial aid. Payments are due in August (for Fall semester) and January (for Winter semester) on the same day as tuition. Specific dates are posted on ASU’s academic calendar
ASU Payment Plan: Students can budget the payment of certain eligible university charges over several months within the semester. Eligible charges include tuition, housing, meal plans, parking permits and health insurance. Visit the ASU Payment Plan website for more information.)
