Upper Division Housing

University Housing is committed to providing an residential experience for continuing students that complements your academic choices and supports your engagement in the broader ASU experience. 

When you live on campus you are connected and engaged in the university community. As an ASU resident, you’ll have access to academic resources right where you live. Programs and services that are specifically designed for the continuing student experience will be available to you, including access to in-hall study groups, recreational sports and late-night programs, networking, and career development.


Downtown Phoenix Campus

At the Downtown Phoenix campus, residents have the opportunity to experience urban life at Taylor Place, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Taylor Place houses freshmen and upper division students in two towers and features student lounges and meeting space, laundry facilities, on-site dining and vending, a private roof terrace, a 4,000-square foot neighborhood shade garden and the Devils Den, a gaming and recreational space for residents. Meal plans are required at Taylor Place.


Polytechnic Campus

North Residence Halls
The North Residence Halls at the Polytechnic campus are Falcon, Mustang and Phantom Halls.  Located on the north side of the Poly campus, these halls feature single occupancy, suite-style rooms with a private bathroom.  Meal plans are not required in the Sophomore Year Experience North Residence Halls.

Shared Houses
Sharing a house in college is a popular option for students at the Polytechnic campus. Two and three-bedroom houses are located in community villages on the north, south and west side of campus. Each resident has a private room and shares the main areas with one or two other students. Single student houses are furnished with bedroom and common-area furniture, with inclusive utilities, washer/dryer, cable TV and high-speed Internet connections in each room. Meal plans are not required for shared houses.

Specialty communities within the shared housing area include: Startup Village Fulton, Ira Schools of Engineering, Eco Village and Sustainability District, Women In Science and Engineering (WISE), Aviation Community and Barrett, the Honors College. 


Tempe Campus

Apartment Living
Cholla Apartments offers two-bedroom apartment-style accommodations with the upper division student in mind.  Students enjoy private bathrooms and kitchens and an on-site swimming pool. These communities offer students the privacy and amenities of apartment living while providing the convenience of accessible resources available to all campus residents. Meal plans are not required for Cholla Apartments.

Cholla Apartments also houses the Global Leaders Living Experience, designed for ASU and international exchange students who are interested in more hands on global networking and developing cross cultural leadership skills from around the world while developing a more global perspective. .

Barrett, the Honors College
Barrett, the Honors College Residential Complex features suite-style living accommodations for students at all stages of their university experience. Upper division students have a variety of room configuration and options in Willow, Rosewood, Juniper, Sage North and Cottonwood halls. A Barrett meal plan is required in the Barrett Honors Complex.

Adelphi Commons I
ASU also provides housing for the Panhellenic Chapters of ASU Sorority Life in Adelphi Commons I. Each cluster is complete with suite style living, a full kitchen and chapter room, study room and courtyard. Meal plans are not required in sorority housing.

Irish Hall
Irish Hall offers double-occupancy accommodations with community-style bath facilities to upper division and transfer Herberger Institute students in the Arcadia Residential Community for Design and the Arts.  Students will also have access to a state-of-the-art computer lab, music practice rooms, art/design and dance/theatre studios in the community. A meal plan is required in Irish Hall.

Vista del Sol
Vista del Sol offers one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments to continuing students. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, computer labs and technology, as well as study rooms and a community game room all in a great location, convenient to classes.


West Campus

Las Casas Apartments is a three story complex with on-site recreation facilities, including a spacious community center, computer lab, swimming pool and sand volleyball court. Amenities include two and four bedroom units, shared and/or private bathrooms, inclusive utilities, wireless computing, in-room kitchen facilities, laundry facilities, secure key card access, and weekly social activities. A meal plan is not required in Las Casas Apartments.
